SVC Distinguished Presenter Award
Purpose
The Distinguished Presenter Award recognizes individuals enriching the SVC Technical Program with sustained contributions advancing vacuum coating, surface engineering, and related technologies.
Eligibility
An individual is eligible upon presenting a paper or poster at a minimum of 10 TechCons, attending at least 5 consecutive TechCons over any time period, and SVC membership for 5 consecutive years prior to nomination.
Application Format
SVC Administration will notify eligible individuals. The following application materials are then emailed to the Awards Committee Chair by October 1:
- A letter describing the technical impact on the SVC community of their work presented at TechCon meetings, and the impact the SVC had on them and their work, 3 page maximum
- Curriculum Vitae
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed to confirm eligibility prior to awarding the title of SVC Distinguished Presenter.
