All, I'm investigating the possibility of VC a conductive ribbon onto a cermanic base that will survive -100 deg F to 3000 deg F. Will chromium trioxide (Cr2O3), lead oxide (PbO), or ruthenium oxygen (RuO) survive these extremes? I'm familar with IVD coating of aluminum and the masking process used there. How would one mask an electrically nonconductive ceramic to deposit a ribbon pattern on the ceramic? How would the process change if the ceramic were nonconductive? Thanks J. Colich
