Nasher Sculpture Museum/Arboretum Tour

Tuesday, April 27 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The SVC has arranged for conference attendee companions to visit the nationally acclaimed Nasher Sculpture Museum. The building was designed by Italian architect, Piano, and cost $70 million to construct. Tour the $400 million collection of privately owned modern and contemporary sculpture, including works by Rodin, Picasso, Matisse, Miro, Moore, and Calder. After lunch at the museum cafe (cafeteria style dining offering an assortment of delicious entrées priced from $10), the bus will take you to the Arboretum overlooking White Rock Lake. The nine individual gardens can be toured using a tram between each garden, to minimize walking. Be sure to leave time to tour the 21,000 sq. ft. DeGolyer Estate home on the Arboretum grounds.

Tour fee: $42/per person or $39/per person age 65+. The fee includes admission to the Nasher Sculpture Museum and the Arboretum, and round-trip transportation.

Breakfast Arrangements on April 26–28
Tables in the Pearl Street private room, adjacent to the Pearl Restaurant, have been reserved for the SVC Companions. Wear your badge, and join old friends and make new ones between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Order and pay for your own breakfast. Make plans to spend the day exploring Dallas together!
