Abstract Submission
Abstracts for Posters and Heuréka! Session Accepted Until March 2, 2012
Abstracts submitted for oral presentations will be considered on a case-by-case/space available basis.
Note: Presenters in all sessions of the conference (including Invited Speakers) must register for the 2012 Annual Technical Conference (Opens mid-December 2011).
Abstract Content Guidelines

The 200-word abstract should be one paragraph, objective and technical. No trade names, trademarks, product names or a commercial tone will be allowed in the abstract.

Abstract should not contain reference numbers.

Refrain from using special symbols in the abstract text.

Craft your abstract text to contain words that describe the concepts of the presentation. All abstracts will be placed in a searchable format on the SVC Web Site and in the CD-ROM version of the Annual Technical Conference Proceedings.

Save and upload your abstract text as a Word file - (.doc and .docx formats are acceptable)
Presentation Times: 20 minutes for technical presentations
SVC sends an immediate e-mail acknowledgement after a successful abstract submission. If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation immediately after your abstract is submitted, please re-submit, ensuring all the required fields in form below are complete and the abstract text file is attached and saved as a Word file. If you continue to have problems submitting your abstract online, contact SVC at 505/856-7188 or e-mail publications@svc.org.
Within 10 days of your abstract submission, you will also receive notification from the SVC Administrative Offices that your abstract has been forwarded to the Program Committee for review. If your abstract is accepted, you will receive a session and time slot assignment before the publication of the Preliminary Program in early December.
