2009 TechCon Preliminary Program

2009 52nd SVC Annual Technical Conference
May 9-14, 2009
Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, CA

Preliminary Program Introduction and Highlights

Organizers of the 2009 Technical Program have developed an impressive group of Invited, Keynote, Plenary, and Tutorial speakers for this program.  Today’s coating technologies are becoming widespread in industrial production as well as in our everyday life.  Recent developments in thin films and detailed engineering of film properties for sophisticated functional film systems are dependent on advanced coating technologies, new types of plasma sources, and new hybrid processes.

The SVC TechCon capture these technologies through an extended participation of hi-tech industrial vendors and a very rich technical program, elevating this annual event to one of the top international meetings focusing on vacuum coating, surface engineering and related technologies.  We hope that you will join us for our 52nd Annual Technical Conference in Santa Clara, CA, May 9–14, 2009.
